The "Wisdom of Crowds" describes how a diverse collection of independently thinking individuals are likely to make better decisions and predictions than experts.

My project proposes a copunterfactual history in which IBM has bought the Pruitt-Igoe housing development in St. Louis, Missouri before it's destruction in 1972. The inhabitants are 'employed' by IBM to perform a variety of tasks amid their daily routinges in order to test how the crowd phenomenon functions.
