J.H. Vincent sits staring out of the window. His right hand plucks gently at his beard, whist his left sporadically taps against the blank page of his notebook as if possessed by an invisible, irregular force.
He has been sat like this for some time. For how long we cannot be sure, but the ice in his drink has long since melted, and the light emerging through the curtains would suggest it is now the morning. An observer might regard his fidgety musing as a symptom of writer's block, but this could not be further from the truth. Within his mind J.H. Vincent wanders across distant planets, imagines extraterrestrial cultures, strange alien beasts, and the galactic heroine that will define his latest novel…We Build Worlds.
He will soon transcribe these thoughts into his notebook, but for now he lets his imagination surround him, enclosed within the walls of his flat.
Takram designed a creative experience for Sony’s unique Life Space UX products such as 4K Ultra Short Throw Projector, Portable Ultra Short Throw Projector, and Glass Sound Speaker. The experience is set within the residence of J.H. Vincent, a fictional sci-fi author, as he is about to begin writing his latest book… “We Build Worlds”. In his apartment, we explored how we can transform our domestic space through the creative use of audio and visual augmentation.
